P.U.R.E. Girls, Inc.'s mission is to empower young girls ages 8 - 18 to define their distinction and become well-rounded individuals. 

Board of Directors

Tesha Lanier

Tesha Lanier serves as board vice chair for P.U.R.E. Girls, Inc. She is also the mentor/instructor for the 8 – 11 year old girls. Tesha is a former Girl Scout who understands service, leadership, and determination. She was also a “big” under Big Brothers Big Sisters of America (Independence Region) from 2012 – 2015. Tesha has a passion for helping others and is known for her integrity, generous heart, and work ethic. Her hobbies include graphic designing and photography. Tesha is a marketing and communications professional who has managed cross-functional teams through a variety of integrated marketing initiatives. In 2014 she led a marketing campaign that was selected as the national model for employer at the time. Tesha also serves on the board of directors for the Boys & Girls Club of Chester, Pennsylvania. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Virginia Union University in Richmond, Virginia and her Master of Business Administration in Marketing Management from Wilmington University in New Castle, Delaware. Tesha also obtained a Certificate in Marketing and Communications from The Nonprofit Center at La Salle University and a Certificate in Project Management from Temple University.

Tamara Haskins

Tamara Haskins serves as secretary for P.U.R.E. Girls, Inc. Tamara resides in New Jersey and has a 14 yr old daughter who is in the 9th grade. She works in the Information Technology field as an Information Security Analyst for a nonprofit educational testing and assessment organization. She has been employed with the company for 15 years and still enjoys every minute of it. In her free time, she loves to make chocolate covered treats, and soon it will be a registered business that will become a lucrative business. Another love of Tamara's is being a Sunday School teacher at her local church. She is the head teacher of the teen class, and on Wednesday’s she teaches in Kids Zone. Tamara is honored to serve on the board of directors for P.U.R.E. Girls, Inc. and is looking forward to all of the great things this organization will do for the young girls involved now and beyond.

Mischelle Williams 

Mischelle Williams serves as treasurer for P.U.R.E. Girls, Inc. Mischelle currently works at Wellsfargo Bank, where she has devoted 25 years of her career to maintain and ensure customer’s satisfaction, as well as help them succeed financially, grow their business or guide them in the right direction to becoming homeowners. In Michelle’s spare time she enjoys spending time with her grandchildren and volunteering at the food bank and Soup Kitchen in her community.
